Yoshinoya, one of Japan’s largest restaurant chain companies and a global brand with over 1,400 locations throughout the world, announced the opening of its 100th store (franchised owned, Alan Yu) in Walnut, California on February 16, 2010. The opening brings the total number of restaurants to100 in the United States.

Yoshinoya’s signature Beef Bowl ® recipe, which was created over 100 years ago in Japan, can be enjoyed at the new Walnut, California restaurant, located at 1269 N. Grand Ave. (conveniently located across the street from Mt. San Antonio College). Business hours: 9 a.m. – 10 p.m., Monday – Friday and 10 a.m. – 10 a.m., Saturday and Sunday. The new location offers a wide menu including their famous rice bowls, BBQ style plates, sesame wing, soups, salads, kid’s meals, and desserts.
The Walnut Yoshinoya restaurant is pleased to announce that it will be celebrating its grand opening on May 7, 2010 from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. The restaurant will serve the same freshly prepared traditional Japanese cuisine that fans have come to know and love.
To mark the occasion, the Walnut Yoshinoya restaurant will be giving out Yoshinoya VIP (Bounce Back) cards good for 10% off all purchases made in 2010 at the Yoshinoya Walnut location. And, as the highlight of the restaurant’s grand opening, the Regional Chamber of Commerce – San Gabriel Valley will participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the franchise’s first location in the City of Walnut.
Conveniently located across from Mt. San Antonio College, the restaurant’s expansion to this area parallels the recent addition of exciting new categories to its menu, which include BBQ Rib and BBQ chicken plates. Yoshinoya’s Walnut location will be open for business from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
