Groth Family Insurance, a full service agency that provides asset protection and financial planning services to families and business owners in the Tri Cities region, is inaugurating a charity event in southeastern Washington State to benefit the local nonprofit Royal Family Kids Camp.

The Royal Family Kids Camp provides children who have not experienced stability with a week-long excursion designed to promote self-esteem, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Originally opened in 2005 with 38 children and 65 volunteers, the RFK camp has now achieved a maximum capacity of 64 children and between 75-85 volunteers. RFK camp also offers a mentorship program for attendees staffed by thoroughly screened community mentors.

"The goal of this charity event is simple: to bring happiness, security, and a sense of stability to children from our local community so they can address and overcome ongoing issues affecting their performance,” says Duane Groth, co-owner and executive manager of Groth Family Insurance.

To help generate community support and donations for the Royal Family Kids Camp charity initiative, the Groth team is working to raise awareness and gather assistance from regional families and civic leaders over email and social media channels. Additional publicity efforts will include the publication of a headline article featuring the charity drive scheduled for release in an upcoming edition of the Groth Family Insurance webzine “Our Hometown”: http://www.grothfamilyinsurance.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.

Several charitable organizations and nonprofit groups operating in southeastern Washington have enjoyed the support of Groth Family Insurance over the last few months. The Groth team recently became part of the “Agents of Change” national charitable cause involvement campaign, and plans to work with a new local charity every sixty days.
