ZCorum, a leading provider of managed broadband services and diagnostics software, is exhibiting today and tomorrow at the Georgia Telephone Association’s Annual Meeting in Macon, GA. The company will be demonstrating their TruVizion software, which they have now made available for providers who are managing DSL networks. ZCorum has offered TruVizion to cable providers since 2009, and announced last week at the NTCA Rural Telecom Industry Meeting the addition of diagnostics for DSL modems using the TR-069 standard.
“TruVizion is a first-of-its-kind tool for telcos," said Alex Rivera, Director of Sales at ZCorum. "The application incorporates the modem management features available with TR-069, such as remote modem and firmware management, and also includes diagnostics screens and maps to help providers pinpoint service-affecting issues."
ZCorum also offers a mobile app called TechVizion that Rivera said will be on display in the booth. "TechVizion gives field technicians the ability to quickly view on a smartphone or tablet the status of a modem in the field. We'll have a tablet on hand so show attendees can try out the app for a more hands-on experience."
