This will allow us to offer TruVizion to telcos, who are in desperate need for a way to efficiently troubleshoot and manage the DSL modems on their network.

ZCorum and Incognito Software are announcing at the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association (NTCA) meeting an agreement that allows ZCorum to use Incognito Auto Configuration Server (ACS) as part of a first-of-its-kind diagnostics solution for DSL providers. ZCorum recently announced their plan to develop a badly-needed diagnostic solution for DSL. As part of that development project they will be utilizing the Incognito ACS to collect key metrics from DSL modems and to provide advanced configuration management made possible by the TR-069 standard.
“We evaluated products from several ACS vendors and felt Incognito had the most complete solution,” said Neal Grillot, Vice President of Business Development for ZCorum. “They’ve also been the most responsive to our needs as we’ve gone through our testing.” Scott Helms, ZCorum’s Vice President of Technology agreed. “I’m pleased to have access to a quality ACS solution from a company like Incognito as part of our development effort, since it will play a vital role in powering the diagnostics and configuration management for TR-069-enabled modems within TruVizion.“
TruVizion is ZCorum’s popular software currently used by cable providers to diagnose cable modem issues and problems on the cable plant. In 2010 the application was named as one of FierceCable’s Fierce15. Helms said they will be incorporating a DSL diagnostics module within the TruVizion interface that will be powered by the Incognito ACS. “This will allow us to offer TruVizion to telcos, who are in desperate need for a way to efficiently troubleshoot and manage the DSL modems on their network.” Helms said he will be giving a preview of the new DSL diagnostics capabilities being added to TruVizion during a 30 minute presentation at the NTCA meeting on Tuesday morning, February 14th at 7:00 AM in the Ford C room. He will also be in ZCorum’s booth (#404) in the exhibit hall later that morning during the trade show.
Stephane Bourque, President and CEO at Incognito was happy to see the two companies strike an agreement. “ZCorum, like Incognito, has a great track record over the years of providing services and software to broadband providers to make their operations more efficient. I’m glad that our ACS will be an integral part of ZCorum’s diagnostics solution for TR-069 devices.”
Incognito is also well known for their Broadband Command Center (BCC), a carrier-grade provisioning solution for service providers of which an ACS is one component. As part of the agreement announced today, ZCorum will also have the ability to offer Incognito’s full BCC solution to customers who are looking for a more robust provisioning system to bundle with ZCorum’s other services. In addition to diagnostics, ZCorum offers broadband providers other managed services for their subscribers such as email hosting, Voice over IP (VoIP) and 24 x 7 technical support for the end-user.
ZCorum provides broadband Internet and communication solutions to telcos, cable companies, utilities, and municipalities, assisting in all facets of broadband implementation, integration, engineering and consulting, network monitoring and diagnostics.
