American veterans who are referred to Zeidler Dental through the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) will receive 25% off their dental service. The reduced fees for veterans will continue until March 2010.

Patients can receive the discount by contacting the VAPAHCS Dental Service and asking about reduced dental fees for veterans from Zeidler Dental Group in San Jose. The necessary paperwork, forms and ID verification is done through the VA hospital, and patients are then sent to the Zeidler office to receive dental treatment.

To find out if they are eligible for routine dental care and treatment at a VA dental clinic site, veterans must visit the VA eligibility office and obtain a 10-570g form. However, dental benefits provided by the VA are limited, and many veterans find themselves taking advantage of the reduced fees at non-VA San Jose dental sites within the community.

"There are many veterans who discover that they do not qualify for full dental benefits from the VA because they do not have a service-related dental disability or they were not a prisoner of war. However, that doesn't mean that these soldiers don't deserve quality routine health care.
