Actress and author, Josie Bissett, was recently named spokesperson for Zipfizz, the healthy alternative to sports and energy drinks. A multimillion dollar ad campaign will consist of a nationwide media, promotions, and events campaign with Bissett as the centerpiece. The campaign is set to begin on July 12, 2010 and will run on 25 networks including: TNT, A&E, Fox News, E, The Discovery Channel, Bravo, Lifetime, Oxygen, TLC, and several others nationwide.

Bissett garnered international fame for her role as the popular Jane Mancini on the original "Melrose Place" and reprised that role on the 2009 update of the popular drama. She has appeared on more than 40 magazine covers, and has starred in numerous movies and TV shows. Bissett has also written three books, and hosted a PBS educational special. Her first children's book, "Tickle Monster," earned the 2008 Publisher's Choice Award from the Family Magazine Group and she was named the 2008 "Celebrity Mom of the Year" by the Mom's Choice Awards (MCA). Currently, Bissett can be seen on ABC Family Channel's breakout teen-pregnancy drama series "The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” as well as the Lifetime Television original film "The Other Woman.”
