Chocorua, NH (Vocus) May 21, 2010
Monkey-Trunks opens for the season on Saturday 22nd May with a new attraction: the DropZone giving participants a 40’ free fall!
After two successful season with thousands of participants enjoying high ropes adventures and a new site in Orlando, Monkey Trunks has added another exciting new attraction to the Chocorua high ropes and zipline adventure centre, the Drop Zone giving participants a 40’ free fall from the climbing tower.
Manufactured in the UK, the Drop Zone is one of the first in the US built under license by Challenge Towers, NC.
Following the rest of the park, it continues the environmentally friendly strategy, using no power except willpower and burning nothing but carbohydrates.
Another addition is the end of the Jungle which has been made more challenging with the Leopard’s Leap and is an ideal finish for groups wanting a trust and confidence building team event.
Following the introduction of the Mini Monkey course last season, this now allows children as young as 3 years old to enjoy themselves on mini challenges with a scaled down zipline and giant swing. It also provides the ideal course for nervous adults to acclimatise to heights before attempting the larger courses. Many find though, that it gives sufficient thrill by itself.
Participants can now make bookings online or by telephone although walk ins are always welcome. A standard session is 2 hours but day passes are also available giving unlimited access to all courses.
Monkey Trunks also offers birthday parties, a corporate training room and full refreshments from the Watering Hole cafe.
Monkey-Trunks is open weekends from May 22nd until June 27th and every day from June 28th until September 6th when it will revert to weekends only. Opening hours, admission prices and further details can be obtained from our website: http://www.monkeytrunks.com or call (603) 367 4427.
