The Original Free DNS Provider Releases a Complete Interface Overhaul Including New Features

ZoneEdit's website received a major facelift with improved performance.

ZoneEdit has long been known for reliability and stability in the DNS industry, and the new website will come as a welcome change for long-time users of the old interface.

ZoneEdit, one of the original managed DNS providers, today launched a completely new interface which replaces the old version that had been in use since the company was founded in 2000. These updates modernize the platform and position ZoneEdit to be the leader in managed DNS services. ZoneEdit gives each new customer two free DNS zones while a credit system allows customers to add additional zones or other services at industry-leading prices.

“ZoneEdit has long been known for reliability and stability in the DNS industry, and the new website will come as a welcome change for long-time users of the old interface,” said Aaron Bathum, ZoneEdit Director of Development and IT. “The old ZoneEdit system has a great history as a DNS industry innovator, but with this new modernized system ZoneEdit is poised to continue to be a leader in managed DNS.”

The biggest improvement is a completely rebuilt website that is much faster than the original interface. Additional enhancements include monthly billing to increase flexibility, improved DNS and domain security checks, and a new API and reseller system. New features including full IPv6 support and over 10 new DNS record types like SRV, KEY, LOC, and SPF have also been added. The ZoneEdit platform continues to provide the fastest DNS updates available with the same top-tier reliability.
