        <![CDATA[  <P>While many good deeds done each day are going unrewarded, the National &quot;Do a Good Deed Contest&quot; seeks to spotlight and reward good deeds performed by children and young people up to age 18. Contest rules are simple. &quot;DO A GOOD DEED&quot; and describe in a short essay what you did, why you did it, and what happened as a result. The winner will receive a new computer. The next prize-giving date is November 15, 2006. Essays must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance of the award presentation.
