Timmons Group Announces the Release of Enterprise Land Management Application for Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources

Timmons Group recently completed the Wisconsin Forest Inventory and Reporting System (WisFIRS) GIS for Public Land Management Application. WisFIRS is a Web-based application which allows foresters to enter, plan and report on core business functions related to forest reconnaissance data on more than 3.8 million acres of Wisconsin’s public forests. The WisFIRS application is used by hundreds of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) staff and County Forest partners and allows them to be more efficient in public forest management and timber sale administration.

Timmons Group Named to ENR’s Top 500 Design Firms List for 16th Consecutive Year

The list, published in the April 25, 2011, issue of ENR, ranked Timmons Group 350th out of 500 firms. The 2011 rankings are based on revenue for design services performed in 2010. This marks the 16th straight year Timmons Group has been on the ENR Top 500 list.

Timmons Group to Design National Museum of the Marine Corps Heritage Center Parkway Extension and Route 1 Entrance Improvements

When complete, the new two-lane, quarter mile section of roadway will serve as a two-lane rural connector with a right-turn lane exiting onto Route 1. This new stretch of roadway will also provide an overlook at the roadway’s crest for panoramic views of the museum and its grounds.
