Kissimmee Utility Authority invites students to use the power of art to promote electrical safety in the utility's 17th annual calendar art contest. Twelve winning students will receive a $100 cash prize and have their artwork featured in the utility's 2011 wall calendar. A grand winner will have his or her name and artwork affixed to a utility bucket truck for one year and featured on the calendar cover.

Florida Utility Offers Free 2010 Hurricane Preparedness Guide

Angel Quiles Named KUA Meter Reader of the Year

The third time was the charm for Kissimmee Utility Authority meter reader Angel Quiles. After coming in second the past two years, Quiles today was named the utility's 2008 meter reader of the year. Quiles read 102,772 electric, water and irrigation meters in 2008 with an accuracy rate of 99.9 percent.

Matt Myers Named Meter Reader of the Year
