Philadelphia, Pa.- March 22, 2003 Philadelphia native, Richard Myers, creates the title of pawrentÂ? and grandpawrentÂ?, a well deserved and unique identity for people who have pets with paws. In October of 2002, Richard Myers started pawrent.comÂ?, an informative and e-commerce website geared toward proud and caring pawrentsÂ? and grandpawrentsÂ?.

“It’s the best thing since the invention of the smiley face!”, says Elizabeth Roeder, President of Roeder Design Group Inc. “Working together, we will continue to make a tremendous difference in the lives of millions of animals today-and also help ensure that future generations will never have to suffer such abuse and pain. We would be most grateful for your help”, says Jill Jones, Manager, Corporate Gifts and Affinity Programs at PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). “I love what you‘re doing for pet owner’s egos!”, says Natasha Down of InfoPet Canada.

“Anyone can have a pet. Only people who treat their pets as family, as if they were their own children, can call themselves pawrents™ and grandpawrents™. Many people refer to their pets as their kids, so this new identity says it all”, claims Richard Myers, President of pawrent.com™.

Pawrent.com™ was inspired by Richard Myers’ puppy (Golden Retriever) named Chase in mid 2000. Pawrent.com™ says they are looking forward to supporting pet organizations as well as doing business with pet related companies to forever enrich the lives of pets and their proud and caring pawrents™ and grandpawrents™”.
