Hollywood – May 27, 2003 – Gray-Spio Digital Media has begun auditions for “America’s Most Eligible” contestants -- physically and emotionally available men and women who will ultimately become finalist for “America’s Most Eligible” reality television series.

“America’s Most Eligible” format creator and digital cinema pioneer Mary Spio of Gray-Spio Digital Media, states that “to be eligible, contestants have to be not only sexy and successful, but also sophisticated, and exciting. And, of course, single!”

A series of nationwide auditions will be blazing through Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas, Chicago, Miami, Houston, Phoenix, Denver, Seattle, Atlanta, San Francisco, and San Diego. The first Southern California open call will be held in Hollywood from 10 am to 6pm on Tuesday, Jun 17th, at the Hollywood & Highland Entertainment Complex in the heart of Hollywood with an after party at the Calibar Beverly Hills located at 9667 ½ Wilshire Blvd. Single contestants woo each other throughout the night knowing that leaving a great impression could qualify them as “America’s Most Eligible” and as well; land them mates. Being anti-social is grounds for disqualification.

"The disqualification system really pushes people to meet and greet others without having to come up with corny pick-up lines or excuses. You can always use ‘the contest’ as an excuse to meet and greet others." states Mary Spio, the executive producer of the Gray-Spio Digital Media reality dating series.

50 finalists will be selected from the nationwide search to participate in “America’s Most Eligible” competition in Las Vegas. Final contestants will be housed together for a week, where they will participate in various events designed to test bravery, sense of humor, mental aptitude, compatibility, and endurance. A panel of celebrity judges and relationship experts will elect one male and one female finalist as “America’s Most Eligible” man and woman. Winners receive over $100,000 in cash and prices and a chance to select a dream mate from thousands of eligible singles.

When asked how “America’s Most Eligible” reality series differs from other reality shows, Spio states, “Most reality shows out there seem like a one-course meal with few options. Our strong point is in creating a spicy show with a fun mix of exciting singles that includes Latinos, African Americans, and Asians as part of the main course not just as condiments"

Audiences have a heightened viewing experience when they can relate to the cast and characters that they are watching. “America’s Most Eligible” reality television series will have a mix of contestants that will captivate everyone in the 18-49 year-old demographic.

Contestants must arrive at open call with photos taken within the last 3 months, positive ID, and be camera ready. Register at http://www.AmericasMostEligibleContest.com.
