In response to a letter transmitted to Mr. Leo Gerard, the President of the USWA, Mr. Harry E. Lester the Director of USWA District 2 in Taylor Michigan penned his letter of support for the Interstate Traveler Project as a visionary opportunity to revitalize the steel industry in America.
The Interstate Traveler Project provides a national multimodal, maglev rail rapid transit, energy generation and distribution network using solar powered hydrogen production, distribution, and hydrogen fuel cell technology, fully operated using TCP/IP.
From the local, to the national level the Interstate Traveler provides the ÂInternet of National Transportation and Hydrogen Distribution with near zero environmental impact, an overall reduction in air pollution while increasing the efficiency of the national transportation system, and an increase in the productivity for the NationÂs economy by the consumption of millions of tons of stainless steel.
U.S. Congressman Christopher Cox, Orange County California, acknowledges the significance of the Interstate Traveler as a clean national transportation system and compared it to the legislative priority of House Resolution 1180 (known as the H2 Grow Act) to significantly aid the development of hydrogen for the transportation industry.
Further, the Interstate Traveler project is unanimously supported by the Michigan Legislature with House Resolution 23 and Senate Resolution 89.
