South Dade Rehab and The ChildrenÂs Clinic have been renamed Healis and Healis The ChildrenÂs Clinic, announced Heather Attong, Executive Director, Healis. South Dade Rehab, now renamed Healis, continues to offer comprehensive services for pediatric and adult patients focusing on therapeutic intervention of various neurological, orthopedic and developmental disorders. South Dade Rehab was founded in 1999 by Heather Attong and Lisa Galvez.

Healis has opened a new 4100 square foot healing and rehabilitation center in Miami Lakes, Florida, located at 7735 NW 146 Street, Suite 100, Miami Lakes, FL 33016.
The Miami Lakes Healis center will encompass a Healis Rehabilitation Center, Healis The ChildrenÂs Clinic and a Healis Executive Fitness Center.
ÂThe Miami Lakes office will focus on bringing innovative healing and therapeutic modalities to the area as well as delivering first class services that Healis is known for in South Dade, said Lisa Galvez, Administrative Director, Healis.
The Healis Rehabilitation Center in Miami Lakes has innovative European healing and rehabilitative modalities including the Power Plate, an advanced vibration technology used by professional sports teams for conditioning as well as therapists for applications for balance, circulation and bone density.
ÂOur Healis Listening and learning Center in the Miami Lakes office is the only approved Pragmatus center in Florida and is based on the European model of working with autistic and other learning disabled children.Â
