Conservatives Shop for Values at the New Red State Store

With the look and appeal of college style team jerseys and t shirts, Red State Store is hoping to ignite a sense of loyalty and pride with America's Â?red stateÂ? conservatives.

If you're part of America's 60 million, Bush-loving, conservative majority, we've got a store just for you. Red State Store ( is an online shopping experience dedicated to red state voters who want to sport their political colors with pride.

With slogans like, “Proud to be from Jesus Land” and “Conservatives do it Right”, Red State Store makes no excuses for its controversial brand of political merchandise.

According to Dan Jordan, the company's president, one of their most popular items is a silicone rubber wristband with the image of a cross, a heterosexual family, a fetus, a flag and a gun. “These symbols represent our conservative values”, Jordan says. “ With all this talk lately about blue state wristbands, ours is definitely more interesting”

Even though Jordan was born and raised in Southern California, he identifies himself as being mostly “red state” at heart. “I'm a tiny speck of red living in a big blue state. I enjoy being my own person and not following the crowd”.

Jordan's Red State t shirts have been selling at a rate of about twenty per day since the store opened on January 1st. Orders have already shipped to all fifty states.

Currently, the site offers the usual assortment of t-shirts, caps and bumper stickers. However, plans are in the works for watches, writing instruments and golf accessories.

The phrase "red state” or “blue state" represents the American political map. The term defines red as favoring Republicans, blue as favoring Democrats.
