One of this yearÂs brightest and most promising shining stars Xisco Poncé Jr. (http://www.xiscoponcejr.com) is taking to the road this late summer for a West Coast Regional 2005 tour promoting his latest album ÂSuiteÂ.
The Philippine-born Hawaii raised Xisco Poncé, Jr. has been referred to as the male version of Sade. He combines hypnotic dance rhythms, soaring melodies along with his angelic vocals to create a breathtakingly beautiful and haunting musical journey.
On his latest effort Suite, Xisco was joined by an eclectic lineup of legendary musicians including bass player Deon Estus (George Michael and Elton John), guitarist Larry Treadwell (Thomas Dolby), Sammy Tormanen (Transistor), Steve Ferris (Mister Mister) and Valerie Davis (Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, Earth Wind and Fire) who provides the sultry background vocals. Xisco Poncé, Jr.Âs ÂSuite is a romantic, bittersweet sound scape that has to be heard to be believed.
In preparation for XiscoÂs tour, Los Angeles based Multimediary Entertainment Marketing (http://www.multimediary.com) has been hired to procure promotional partners. Thom King, President of Multimediary, said "I get a ton of records sent to me by every label you can think of and rarely does any one totally blow me away but XiscoÂs didÂ. King added. ÂWe are genuinely excited to be able to work with Xisco Poncé Jr. on his late summer 2005 West Coast Regional Tour. ÂIt is an excellent compliment to our other tours and events in that it targets a very hard to hit demographic that the rest of our opportunities can't effectively reach. According to King, "This audience of tastemakers can be reached virtually nowhere else." Based on a recent Multimediary in-house study, the 20-35 tastemaker demographic is projected to spend $195 billion this year and will spend $13 billion on electronics and computer equipment, $38 billion on eating out and $23 billion on clothing.
Xisco Poncé Jr. takes to the road for a 15-City West Coast Regional Club tour scheduled to begin September 2005 extending through the end of October. Appealing to a 20 to 35 metrosexual and fashionista urban dwelling hipster demographic, XiscoÂs audience is comprised of tastemakers as well as influencers of peer groups. His tour will be routed through venues which hold 300-750.
XiscoÂs tour will be supported by his producer and UE3 records, Uprising Entertainment, Multimediary, the tour promoter as well artist management through aggressive PR, on-air interviews coupled with promotions and contesting, print and radio.
