Engineer Mom Takes On the World of Babies, Toddlers, Preschoolers and Moms With a New DVD/Video Series 'Galloping Minds'

Galloping Minds has launched their 3rd DVD 'Baby Learns Numbers and Animals with Mr. Twiddles' in the series for babies, toddler, preschool and pre k kids.

The company was started by a mom who is an engineer with a Masters in Computer Engineering and worked in Fortune 500 Companies such as Intel and Fujitsu.

Galloping Minds DVDs other titles include ' Baby Learns Alphabet and Phonics' and 'Baby Learns Shapes and Colors'. The videos have received excellent reviews from top video reviewers such as Bruce Kluger of 'Parenting Magazine', Midwest Educational Books who called them 'An Educational Treasure' and Caroline Howard of Working Mother Magazine. Besides receiving the Dove Foundation Award for good family entertainment. The videos were first introduced on ABC Affiliate Kron 4 in San Franscisco. They are currently being sold in major retail stores and libraries across the US.

The videos are also being broadcast in parts of the US as part of a Video on Demand Package, produced by Studio 4 Networks. They can be viewed on RCN, Comcast, Mediacom etc.

All 3 titles will be released in UK in July. DVDs and VCDs were released in parts of Asia early this year.

The emphasis of the DVD series is to provide educational fun to children age 1 year to 6 years. Learning the Alphabet, letter sounds for toddlers, preschoolers, and spellings for older kids becomes effortless with the title 'Baby Learns Alphabet and Phonics'. Kids can also pick up a variety of shapes and colors from the 'Baby Learns Shapes and Colors' video/DVD which teaches children to think beyond the constraints of a text book and use their imagination to blend different shapes to form new objects in 2-3 dimension. A wide range of shapes and colors are introduced to the preschooler. The third DVD is on Numbers and Animals - 'Baby Learns Numbers and Animals with Mr. Twiddles'.

The plot includes Mr. Twiddles, who is a cute and round man, who appears to have misplaced his little lamb Doodle. His adventures to find his lamb Doodle take him far and wide. He visits different countries and meets a number of animals - 1 zebra in Africa, 2 Polar Bears in Alaska and so on all the way upto 10 animals. 10 is the magic number all parents of toddlers and preschoolers want their kids to master. Counting numbers in reverse, addition, subtraction, equality (more or less) are some of the other initial mathematical concepts introduced through pure edutainment.

The plans for the future are multifold -increasing their product line and naturally working towards steady growth. On the philanthropic side, Galloping Minds has put up links to Cancer Forums and Bone Marrow Donation for Leukemia Patients on their website.The CEO of Galloping Minds has a very close association with the suffering caused by cancer to families. Galloping Minds Company has in the past donated DVDs to parents whose children are afflicted with cancer or are autistic.
