Fred Ruotolo, a recognized Arizona divorce and child custody attorney, and Jeffrey A. Leyton, a highly experienced Arizona family law attorney concentrating in complex business and custody related matters, both with Nirenstein, Ruotolo & González (NRG), PLC spoke in the National Business Institute's (NBI) "Negotiating the Best Possible Settlement for Divorce Clients in Arizona" seminar.

Well known and respected child custody evaluator, Ronald J. Lavit, Ph. D., who is named on the Maricopa County Superior's court's Approved Child Custody Provider Roster, also participated in the discussion.

Messrs. Ruotolo and Leyton were selected because of their firsthand knowledge and experience with divorce cases in which settlement becomes extremely difficult.

The seminar was presented to fellow attorneys, colleagues and other individuals interested in obtaining advice and information regarding the Arizona divorce and settlement process. Attorneys and attendees were provided techniques and tips for negotiating the best settlement for their clients in every critical area and solutions to quickly resolve unexpected obstacles. With the great success of this seminar, held on August 11, 2005, and a previous seminar on July 28, 2005 about elder law, conducted by NRG attorney, Carol A. Soderquist, NRG looks forward to having their attorneys speak at various future seminars regarding Arizona family law and domestic relations issues.

Fred Ruotolo is a member of NRG and an experienced family law litigator who is often involved in contested divorce and child custody matters. Mr. Ruotolo received his B.A. degree from Arizona State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. He has provided pro bono support to many legal aid organizations in the Valley including the Community Legal Service Program, the Paiute Center and is an active participant with the Scottsdale Bar Association.

Jeffrey A. Leyton is an attorney at NRG and a certified mediator who excels in advising clients complex divorce cases involving marital businesses. Mr. Leyton received his J.D. degree with honors from the Brooklyn Law School. He has served as a Judge Pro Tempore of the Superior Court for the State of Arizona and Maricopa County and is a member of the Family Law Section of the Maricopa County Bar Association.
