CASTLE HILL, New South Wales, Australia (PRWEB) October 6, 2005
Australian Longevity today announced that their mineral water product Majestic EarthTM Plant Derived Mineral Water does not contain any banned substances after being tested by the Australian Sports Drug Testing Laboratory.
The Australian Sports Drug Agency (ASDA) tested a sample of Majestic EarthTM Plant Derived Mineral Water, which was directly analysed for the presence of prohormones relating to nandrolone and testosterone. No stimulants, narcotics, diuretics, anabolic agents, b-blockers, corticosteroids and the metabolite of cannabis were found in the 100ml sample.
These results were sent to the Australian Government National Measurement Institute which maintains AustraliaÂs units and standards of measurement and coordinates AustraliaÂs national measurement system.
ÂIt is important for athletes to be confident that the nutritional products that they consume do not contain any dangerous or prohibited agents, says Australian LongevityÂs Annie Kimmings. ÂThe testing by ASDA will assure all athletes that these products are safe and contain what the bottle says they do!Â
The Australian Sports Drug Agency (ASDA) deters the use of banned doping practices in sport through education, testing, advocacy and coordination of Australia's anti-doping program. It has previously tested Gluco Gel and the sports drink, Rebound FXTM Tropical Tirade, currently marketed in the United States by American Longevity. For more information, see http://www.asda.org.au.
