The 10th Annual Academy of Art University Faculty & Alumni Fine Art Auction, which will include an array of paintings and sculptures, will be held on Saturday, November 5. The event will be hosted by the non-profit galleries of the Academy of Art University at the 79 New Montgomery Street gallery.
More than 400 works by Academy of Art faculty and alumni will be auctioned in live and silent auctions. Artists whose works will be auctioned include Craig Nelson, Carolyn Meyer, Bill Maughan, Doug Morgan, Tomutsu Takishima, Peter Schifrin, Margaret Keelan, Brian Blood, Laurie Kersey, Bill Rhea, Po Pin Lin, Anna Nelson, Kevin Moore and Frank Lanza, among others.
Proceeds from the auction, one of the Academy’s most important fundraisers, will support the University’s student scholarship fund. All winning bid amounts are entirely tax deductible.
The event, which includes wine and hors d’oeuvres, is open to the public.
