The Murphy Group LLC announced that they have entered into an agreement with a nationwide fuels & convenience retailer to provide an assessment of new dealers’ operations. The assessments will be provided for all new dealers who have graduated from the retailer’s training program.

Jim Melvin is joining The Murphy Group LLC to provide assistance on this new nationwide initiative. Mr. Melvin previously worked for several of the global mega-major energy firms and his career has spanned over 35 years in the fuels and convenience industry. Mr. Melvin has held significant executive positions in field and headquarters operations. He has a proven track record of creating and implementing successful marketing strategies to grow sales and profits, while controlling costs and managing change. He has a wealth of experience in working with dealers throughout his career at all levels of his prior organizations.
