(PRWEB) November 9, 2005
Vascent, a leading Atlanta-based marketing and technology integration firm, announced its merger with Imology, a marketing consultancy and brand identity firm located in Texas. The merger signifies Vascent's focus on delivering an integrated blend of online/offline marketing and technology solutions. In addition, the merger marks the planned expansion of Vascent into the national market.
“The merger is a well-timed opportunity to extend Vascent's reach into the national market while growing our consultative marketing teams,” states Vascent CEO Jason Martin. “Imology's consultative and creative talent, as well as their impressive client list, perfectly aligns with our corporate goals and complements our service offerings."
As part of the merger, Imology's CEO Chris Moreau will continue to work alongside Vascent as a key advisor. Chris previously served as the CTO of Blockbuster and held senior technologist positions at Sara Lee, Wachovia, and Milliken & Company.
Vascent, which has over a dozen employees, will continue to operate as the parent company. Vascent will retain all Imology personnel, and has begun adding business development and project management personnel to service Imology's national client list. Imology has provided services for notable organizations such as NGAS, Goodyear/VIP Autocare, National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) and KI Memories. Imology assisted these clients by developing or enhancing the company image and strategically managing that image across all of the company's internal, external, and financial audiences.
The Imology merger marks paced growth for Vascent. This is the second M&A transaction for Vascent, who acquired Averick New Media earlier in its development.
