Military Family Starts Business to Help Generate Money for Cancer Society

New business will raise money to pay for doctor bills, medication, and donate to the American Cancer Society.

A new company has appeared and is committed to generating sales and giving a portion of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society. Patrick Knockwood, being deployed to Iraq for the second time received an email from his wife Laurie Knockwood with news that their daughter Amanda had a tumor in her head and could be cancerous. After several tests Amanda was given a choice to undergo surgery or see if a mixture of pills would reduce the tumor. After a consultation with doctors and careful consideration Amanda chose to try the pills. Choosing the pills was not an easy choice as Amanda would most likely be taking them for the rest of her life.

Shortly after getting the results Patrick and Laurie decided to do some research and start there online computer business in hopes that they could generate money to both help pay the future doctor bills and donate a portion of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society. Throughout the year a portion of the proceeds generated from sales at will be put aside. At the end of the year that portion of the proceeds and any interest it may have accrued will be donated to the American cancer society.
