Mac Online Poker Released For Mac Safari and OS X

Pacific Poker has launched its mac online poker software for Mac Safari and Mac OS X users at

Pacific Poker’s recently upgraded its software for Mac poker enthusiasts to play online poker without purchasing Virtual PC software. (

This new software which is commonly referred to as the No Download or “Quick Play” software is Java based and is made for Mac, Linux, Unix and Windows users.

An estimated 4.4% of the PC market are Mac/Apple users. Pacific Poker has decided to take advantage of this small market share by offering this Java based version for Mac poker players and also a Flash style version for their casino which is a “Quick Play” version as well.

The online casino and poker market has become a multibillion dollar industry and many online gaming followers expect more poker rooms and casinos to take advantage of these small markets as the industry begins to mature and become saturated.

The World Series of Poker TV showing is nearing an end with the final table bringing in many new poker admirors to the game. Pacific Poker hopes to capture these new players by offering large sign up bonuses for new players and also by catering to the Macintosh market.

In the latest Egaming Power Review, Cassava was ranked in the top 3 for most dominant online gaming companies. Cassava dominates the Casino market but is lagging behind in the poker market. Currently Sportingbet is ranked #1 with the well known Paradise Poker joining their brand with a 300 million dollar acquisition. (

Paradise Poker and Party Poker are the two online poker brands ranked above Pacific Poker in Egamings reviews but neither currently offer a mac online poker software.
