my step dad Tim, my dad Sam and my brothers and sisters have all been so supportive of my music. I have about 20 aunts and uncles and about 70 cousins who I’ve grown up with and they are all waiting patiently for the album to be completed.

Holly Lena Moore is in Nashville currently recording a country album with Legends Hall Of Fame producer Robert Metzgar. The Hall Of Fame producer is a leader in finding new talent and developing those artists for major labels in many genres. The 17 year old beauty who attended the Palo Cedro, California High School was a cheerleader at Foothill High School for three years. She auditioned for the veteran country music hit maker in Orlando, Florida at an event sponsored by Lou Pearlman of N’Sync fame. There at Talent Rock http://www.talentrock.com the incredible songs and performance by Holly garnered her a position in the Top 5 Finalists in the worldwide event and she was the only singer on Mr. Metzgar’s call back list.
Entertainment Headline News editor Mikel Gore interviewed Holly Moore recently and her earliest influences are Faith Hill, Martina McBride and Eva Cassidy. Throughout the years that she was a student, Moore remembers her desire and dream was to become a country music star. She said, “I can’t imagine working in any other field.”
“When I was five,” Moore told us, “I told my aunt while I was visiting her for Christmas that I could sing just like Elvis Presley. I performed ‘You Ain’t Nothing But A Hound Dog’ for the entire family with a pink tutu, a hairbrush for a microphone and some very bright red lipstick.”
When asked what her favorite male performers were, Holly was quick to say that George Straight, The Beatles and Brooks & Dunn have influenced her music, along with Wynonna Judd, Patsy Cline, and of course Garth Brooks. “Garth was always on my family’s stereo.” When asked what genres of music she listens to, Holly said, “My car’s pre-set is pretty diverse. I listen to country, rock, pop, jazz and blues. I give the greatest credit for my voice to my vocal coach, Jimmy Bryant. He has helped me to grow as a performer and singer 110% since I started with him three years ago.”
“I have sang at multiple charity concerts for senior citizens, hurricane victims, and others who have needed my help at various events held throughout California. I have a very large family that is very supportive of my music career. My granny, “Granny,” and my grandpa, “Poppy” my step dad Tim, my dad Sam and my brothers and sisters have all been so supportive of my music. I have about 20 aunts and uncles and about 70 cousins who I’ve grown up with and they are all waiting patiently for the album to be completed.” Holly who is a close neighbor to superstar Merle Haggard has targeted January 2006 as a final date to get her new album completed.
Holly started her new album in Nashville in October. Her first session in the studio with incredibly talented musicians was a natural high. While the average country album today costs well in excess of $150,000 at a label in Music City, the beautiful country singer whose personality is reminiscent of actress Julia Roberts, or singer Martina McBride has found a label home and a studio that believes in her talent. She’s struck by the influences of Faith Hill and how committed she is to her family. “I admire her not only as a woman, artist and professional, but she’s a wife and homemaker as well. Being on stage is a passion for me,” Moore said in an interview for her biography piece. “I know in my heart that I’m supposed to sing and be doing what I’m doing in the music business. I sing from my heart with my emotions and my feelings all exploding through my songs. That’s the music inside me that makes me what I am as a solo artist. Growing up, I watched many others in their quest as solo artists. Now, I’m that artist.”
Her producer worked hard to find her hit songs by the greatest hit songwriters in the city of Nashville. From Dennis Morgan (The Dance-Garth), Tom Shapiro (22#1 Billboard records) to Dewayne Blackwell (Friends In Low Places-Garth) the legendary hit maker Metzgar has rounded up some of the greatest hit material in his 30 year Grammy winning history. See http://www.smokeyriverboys.com The album is being recorded at Chelsea Studios in Nashville. The studio is famous for hosting some of the greatest talent in music from Frank Sinatra to Tom T Hall.
Entertainment Headline News asked Holly what she does in her spare time. Holly said, “In the summer, I like to go to the beach or to the lake on our family houseboat. I love to go to the waterfalls with my friends and jump off the top (which scares my grandma to death) but in the winter I go to the ski park and snowboard. I love to run, to perform and sing and best of all to see the jubilant faces of my fans everywhere I am performing. Jennifer Love-Hewitt and Sandra Bullock are my favorite actresses along with Jessica Simpson and Hilary Duff who are some of my heroes.
Her co-producers and surrounding entourage of people who have assisted her on her future project is like a list of Who’s Who of the music business.
