When the magazine was founded in 1975, the three networks were broadcasting ten hours of soaps every weekday. Thirty years later, the magazine’s Editorial Director, Lynn Leahey is thanking her loyal readers for keeping Soap Opera Digest the No. 1 soap magazine as she prepares for 30 more years. “Daytime has changed dramatically over the years, but the audience is as passionate as ever about their stories and favorite stars.”
