Western Kitty Delights Country Music Stars

As fashion-forward country music stars take over Manhattan, they are presented with goodie bags containing clothes by hot designer Western Kitty.

Hot new clothing label Western Kitty will be included in the Country Crooner “goodie bags” presented this week to country music’s biggest superstars by Madison & Mulholland.

Faith Hill, Lee Ann Womack, and Martina McBride are among the celebrities participating in a week of “Country Takes NYC” events November 9-15. After a week of parties for country artists at Macy's and Saks Fifth Avenue and the premiere of "Walk the Line," the events will culminate in the 2005 CMA country music awards show at Madison Square Garden.

Already named one of the top ten “must-have” looks for Spring 2006 by fashion industry hotsheet WWD Show & Tell, the upstart western wear label was selected for the celebrities “because of its trendsetting style,” said Madison & Mulholland’s Jessica Shrier. Young designer Rebecca Burney gives a fresh appeal to the classic cowgirl look, foregoing rhinestones and gingham for the clean, elegant lines of modern couture.

Other stars receiving the gift bags include Nicole Kidman, Reba McEntire, the Dixie Chicks, Dolly Parton, Gretchen Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Trisha Yearwood, Wynonna Judd, and Emmylou Harris, all of whom will be among the fashion-forward celebrities receiving dresses and outfits by Western Kitty.
