Somerset, NJ (PRWEB) November 18, 2005
In March 2006, JK Design will begin a new chapter in the company's 20-year history when it moves into a fully restored historic building in Hillsborough, NJ. The design and marketing firm's team of graphic designers, programmers, multimedia artists, business staff and project managers will relocate to the John R. Staats House on Amwell Road, a 19th-century brick mansion originally owned by one of Somerset County's most prominent families.
JK Design's new offices will incorporate signature elements of the classical Grecian-style building, such as the original pumpkin pine floorboards and ornate crown moldings, with modern renovations like state-of-the-art computer workstations and spacious conference rooms.
"JK Design has always maintained a dynamic and creative atmosphere for our staff and customers," noted Jerry Kaulius, company founder and president. "Moving our offices to this distinctive historic building reflects the fusion of traditional quality and innovative technology that makes us unique."
Kaulius described his company's need for a larger space to accommodate their growing staff as one reason for the move. The unique tranquil location is the other.
"We wanted to find a site that would highlight the fact that we offer a level of customer service that goes far beyond most other companies in this field," Kaulius added. "We'll be able to have lunch with a client on the terrace patio overlooking the pond, or show a multimedia presentation in our new high-tech offices while teleconferencing in members of the client's team who can't be there in person."
"The new building will be technologically advanced, visually exciting and completely client-friendly—values that JK Design holds very dear," said Kaulius.

The John R. Staats House in Hillsborough, New Jersey, was originally home to the prominent Staats family, whose members included Assemblyman John Staats as well as several Revolutionary War officers and minutemen. The stately 19th-century mansion, designed in a classical Grecian style rare in mid-1800s Hillsborough, overlooks a pond on the Royce Brook, a tributary of the Millstone River.
