The acquisition of KHOL-AM in the Bismarck, ND market from Two Guys Broadcasting, Inc. represents the inaugural acquisition for DSN Radio and will serve as a platform for DSN's continued growth in the industry.
"KHOL possesses the critical elements that we look for when creating an industry platform - with strong opportunities in an emerging market," said Guy Guiliano, President of the Digital Syndicate Network. Bismarck ranks the 5th highest in the U.S. in terms of radio advertising revenues per dollar of retail sales, a key indicator of radio's relative attractiveness to advertisers. Guiliano continued, "The advertising growth in the Minot-Bismarck-Dickinson market, provides DSN with a great revenue opportunity."
Native North Dakota business woman Lee Baardson, will oversee management of the newly purchased broadcast outlet. "I am very excited about the opportunities that Digital Syndicate's acquisition of KHOL has presented and the potential that awaits our arrival in the vibrant region of North Dakota. KHOL is currently programming an Adult Contemporary format, with local news, and sports from Central North Dakota.
