Shopping trends and demands vary from year to year. sheds light on what they are experiencing with their very unique product line of oversized objects.

Every year there seems to be that particularly hot item that flies off the shelves for the holidays. This year is no different., a company that specializes in uniquely oversized versions of everyday objects, knows exactly what this year’s big items are.

Their biggest seller so far is their 10-pound milk chocolate candy bar ( Jeff Bruette, founder of, reasoned “Most everyone loves chocolate and can appreciate that this is probably the largest chocolate bar that most people have seen.” The fact that they are offering this giant candy bar for under $50 – which is 20% less than a year ago -- is also driving the sales. Bruette said that anticipates shipping more than a ton of the giant candy bars by the end of the year.

The product that holds the second most popular item is their traditionally styled giant two-bell alarm clock ( Standing at a foot and a half tall, it is believed to be the largest commercially available clock of its kind. “Our customers are excited to learn that when the alarm rings, the sound is actually coming from the hammer hitting the two enormous chrome bells.” said Bruette. This is because other similar clocks only generate electronic beeps for their alarm.

In third place for this season’s biggest gifts is the gallon-sized cup and saucer gift basket ( This 14” wide cup & saucer set is filled with an assortment of teas, coffees, hot chocolates, and snacks. Unlike many gift baskets that leave you with a mundane, useless container when the contents are consumed, this gift concludes with a unique conversation piece. Bruette notices, “It seems that a large number of customers ordering these are having us send them directly to their friends, family, and clients.” Upon request, includes a gift note printed on a giant pink “While You Were Out” message pad page to be included with any order.

While the 10-pound candy bar, 18” alarm clock and giant cup & saucer gift basket are leading the pack in big sales this holiday, most every other item in the product line are moving steadily. Giant Christmas decorations such as the 5-foot Christmas stocking, giant ornaments, and huge holiday lights are moving briskly.

“All in all, we are quite pleased with the holiday sales activity.” Stated Bruette.
