Jigsaw Data Corp. Expands Marketing Team with New VP of Product Marketing; Ethan Prater to Lead Development of New Services

Jigsaw Data Corporation, the online global marketplace for buying, selling and trading business contact information, appoints Ethan Prater as vice president of product marketing.

SAN MATEO, Calif., November 29, 2005—Jigsaw Data Corporation, the online global marketplace for buying, selling and trading business contact information, announced that it has appointed Ethan Prater as vice president of product marketing. Ethan will apply his experience in developing products for the consumer and enterprise communities at Yahoo! and IGN Entertainment to expand the features and services offered by the Jigsaw marketplace.

“The Jigsaw database has been growing exponentially since our launch a year ago through the collective contributions of our member community,” said Jim Fowler, CEO and co-founder of Jigsaw. “Ethan’s background in collaboration and online communities will help us to identify new opportunities and to build an even better product that will provide our members, who are mostly sales, marketing and HR professionals, with a competitive advantage.”

Ethan Prater joins Jigsaw from Yahoo!, where he was director of product marketing for advertising sales, responsible for integrating contact and consumer purchase data with advertising targeting and analytics. Prior to Yahoo!, he worked as director of sales operations & client services at IGN Entertainment, the market leader in web content, community, and subscriptions for males aged 18-34. Ethan has also held positions in enterprise product management at DoubleClick and NetGravity.

Ethan holds a bachelor’s degree in German literature from Yale University and an MBA in marketing and operations management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
