Windows Mobile 5.0 is here and it’s creating a buzz, Infrablue are excited about being part of the mobile revolution and have announced that it is now in the final stages of development to support Windows Mobile 5.0. Infrablue’s wireless presentation device IRMA Bluetooth enables users to make PowerPoint presentations direct from their handheld, without carrying a cumbersome laptop.

IRMA Bluetooth combines compression software and a 110-gramme pocket-sized Bluetooth communications device. The user converts and compresses their chosen PowerPoint documents using the software from their laptop or PC and then transfers them to the handheld device. The handheld then sends the presentation slides direct to the projector using the IRMA device, which is connected directly to the chosen projector by a standard VGA cable connection – no laptop is needed.

Mitchell Johnson, Infrablue’s managing director, explained: ‘We are happy to make this latest addition to our software and are pleased to expand our product support to the next generation of mobile devices. Keeping the IRMA Bluetooth at the forefront of technology developments is important for us to maintain our customer relationships and provide them with the best wireless presentation device available’.

The IRMA Bluetooth software for Windows Mobile 5.0 is expected to be made commercially available in December and will allow users to make their presentations direct from their handheld.

Mitchell Johnson, added: ‘By supporting popular devices such as the latest iMate, HP, Qtek, and 02 models amongst others we can position ourselves as providing one of the must have add-ons for any mobile professional’.

IRMA software runs on Microsoft Windows 98/ME/NT4/2000/XP operating systems and is compatible with Microsoft Point 2000/XP software, while IRMA device is supports Pocket PC 2002/2003, Palm, Nokia series 60 and Sony Ericsson Symbian platforms.

IRMA is available at a RRP of £299.00 from AV distributors. For further details, contact Infrablue, Tel: 0207 031 1189.
