Arlington, VA (PRWEB) November 30, 2005
The InterNational Council on Infertility Information Dissemination, (INCIID – “inside”) has changed holiday celebrations for the first three couples in their IVF scholarship program.
Many in the fertility industry enjoy an exceptionally good living through treating infertile couples. But the holidays present a dilemma to the infertile and only exacerbate their childless suffering and pain.
Help has finally arrived for some through the nation’s first and only national IVF scholarship program. Through “From INCIID the Heart” lives are changing and families are being birthed. The applicant stories are overwhelming, numerous and heartbreaking; One such example of a recent applicant is a political refugee couple tortured under the Saddam Hussein regime and granted political asylum from the US government.
The "Heart Program" is a sort of Habitat for Humanity --- infertility style. INCIID has partnered along side doctors with Heart, as they are affectionately called, who give back to the infertility community in a dramatic way by contributing their skills and services.
Garnering more than $1.3 million in donated IVF services, the program has to date matched more than 39 infertile couples and individuals with donating clinics.
In the past year 12 pregnancies have been established and three babies have been born with 4 others currently due in 2006. The program is a growing blessing to those who without it would have no hope of conception. Just ask Shewanda and Carl Harris of Mississippi, Melody and Jim Frees of Arizona and Mark and Michelle Baird of Michagan what the birth of their babies means and how their holidays have changed thanks to INCIID's and its doctors with heart.
The From INCIID the Heart program is the "feel good" story for the year. It's a story that everyone will enjoy, particularly during the holidays.
