About the Keynote Speakers

Casey Graves, 2nd VP, HR Support, Aflac

Casey Graves is 2nd Vice President, Human Resources Support at Aflac. Casey joined Aflac in 2002 as Manager HRIS & Payroll. In 2004 he was promoted into the officer ranks. In his current position, he is responsible for Compensation, Employee Benefits, Payroll and HRIS. He works closely with the rest of HR and the business units to most effectively manage Aflac talent, deliver compensation/benefits under a “Total Rewards” umbrella and is the primary liaison with the Information Technology division.

Casey has over 25 years of HR and IT experience and more than 22 years of leadership experience. Some of the projects that he has led include ERP evaluation and implementation, data center consolidations, computer aided job evaluation, benefits plan redesign and he has extensive background and experience in vendor relations management and contract negotiations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business and computer science from Southeast Missouri State, Cape Girardeau Missouri.

Carl Abercrombie, 2nd VP, IT Business Partnership Management Office, Aflac

Carl Abercrombie is second vice president, IT Business Partnership Management Office at Aflac. Carl joined Aflac in 1991 as a programmer/analyst in the Information Technology Division and has held several leadership positions, including most recently, senior manager of the IT Project Office, which provides project management delivery and oversight responsibilities for technical, infrastructure projects within the company.

In his current position, he is responsible for guiding and directing the activities of account managers to ensure that effective communication occurs between IT and its business partners and to ensure that IT service offerings fully align with the business strategy and delivers the intended business value. He works closely with the business leaders to optimize the value of the technology investment and to develop innovative solutions to meet their operational efficiency plans.

Carl has over 20 years of IT experience and more than nine years of leadership experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Troy University, Troy Alabama. In addition, he completed the Georgia Tech Institute for Project Management in Atlanta, Georgia.
