Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™, Michelle Ash, has recently expanded her practice and services to assist divorcing couples and individuals with the financial ramifications of a legal settlement.

Working with her clients and their attorneys, Ms. Ash works to forecast the long-term effects of divorce settlements. Developing comprehensive insight of the short and long-term financial effects of divorce can save valuable time, money and distress, especially if the process is conducted early in the legal proceedings.

“Misinformation and misconceptions about the divorce process can be detrimental,” says Ms. Ash. “Many have false expectations that they will be able to secure a divorce settlement allowing them to continue with their accustomed style of living.” What may appear to be an equal division of property and assets may not be equitable, creating long term financial problems well after the divorce. “I am there to help determine a good, stable economic future and prevent long-term regret with all the financial decisions made during the divorce process” she adds.

Michelle Ash is North Florida’s only woman certified as a CDFA™ . As an Advisor for The Householder Group, she is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and specializes in tax, investment, business, and estate planning.
