How to Practice What You Preach

We’ve had religion via TV for a long time. Now there’s religion via phone. Teleseminars have entered the realm of the New Thought (Metaphysics) Religion. Many churches have a class on at least one weeknight. They are attended with variable success. Attending them can take up to 3 or even 4 hours but only deliver 1-2 hours of content surrounded by getting ready and traveling to and from the church. What if you can’t get a babysitter? What if there’s heavy traffic? What if you get off work late? In the New Thought arena there is an additional and most significant factor – there may not be any New Thought churches in your area. There’s no place to go. But now things have changed.
An old technology - the telephone - has turned this around. Now, if you have a telephone, you can hear lessons in New Thought. You don’t need 4 hours, you don’t need a babysitter, and even if you’re stuck in traffic, you can listen. And if you miss it, you can play it back later on your computer.
Dr. Anne Kunath has begun providing weekly teleseminar classes open to everyone, no matter where you live. There are classes on the Spiritual Laws, Emmet Fox’s works, the Power of your word, Visualization techniques, Affirmations, Prosperity (Dr. Kunath was a personal student of Dr. Catherine Ponder), Goal setting, and more.
Dr. Kunath is also packaging her 30 years of ministerial experience and “taking it on the road” so to speak. But without the rigors and cost of travel. “How to Practice What You Preach” – practical tips and pointers for effective and efficient church operation – is now available via Teleseminar. Most ministers do not receive such practical training while studying for the ministry. Dr. Kunath wants to help them learn from her mistakes and be able to find mentors, deal with problem parishioners, increase attendance, pick the proper board of directors, properly use volunteers etc. Her second preview call is Tuesday, the 28th of February.
Teleseminars are taking this 100 year old technology and conquering the world. They are certainly not limited to the commercial world. This is the ultimate form of “outreach” and Dr. Kunath’s pioneering nature has embraced this method of reaching anyone who’s interested. Preaching by phone is here to stay.
