Carol Martin to lead discussion on HD formats, content and vendor relations.

Carol Martin is director of sales and technology at FootageBank HD, the only footage company specializing in High Definition (HD) content. As an HD footage expert, she will lead a discussion on the most popular and versatile HD formats, the best-selling content and the logistical aspects of the supplier-footage house relationship.

“I Can See Clearly Now – High Definition, Defining Your Vision” is a 3-day symposium sponsored by Discovery Campus, the only professional training initiative in Europe dedicated to international co-productions of high-quality documentaries for a large audience.

Carol Martin joined FootageBank HD during its inception and brings more than 10 years of experience in stock footage sales and management to this role. With a sales record that is at the top in the industry, Carol has a creative talent for finding the right shot at the right price for any footage project.

In addition to her sales role, Carol spearheaded the development of FootageBank HD’s proprietary archival database structure and web site. Her research and persistence helped create a technical architecture that streamlines the process for customers so they can save time, money and effort without losing any of the quality or one-on-one customer support FootageBank HD is known for. Prior to FootageBank HD, Carol held various sales and management positions at Corbis and Sekani. Carol is a graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara and has bachelor degrees in English and Film Studies.
