Christian Audio Book Download Site Launched -

Share Article, a resource for audio book downloads of Bibles and popular Christian books, launches today. It offers busy people a new way of listening to spiritual and inspirational content by freeing them from the constraints of printed material., a pay-per-download site for Christian audio books, launches today. Primarily geared towards the Christian market, it also offers competitively-priced content on business, health, romantic relationships, and foreign language learning. The site currently sells from a selection of about two hundred audio books.

SonicFaith’s 22-year-old co-founder, Carl Obremski, believes that Christians don’t always have the time to read in today’s fast-paced lifestyle. “There’s a lot of quality material out there to help people grow spiritually, but it’s not always in a form that’s easy to digest. But now, a SonicFaith customer can listen to all the great books while driving home from work or doing the laundry.”

While traditional audio books can be prohibitively expensive and inconvenient (because of endless CD switching), SonicFaith’s model optimizes the approach by allowing a user to download content directly to his or her computer, mp3 player or iPod. When a customer buys an audio book, the site provides a link that allows direct access to an .mp3 or iTunes format .m4b file, located on a fast, high bandwidth server.

“It’s like a Christian book store for your iPod,” says Obremski. With a dedicated “Bibles” section, users can quickly find, sample, and download a Bible of their choice. The e-commerce site also features content from several esteemed Christian authors such as Eugene Peterson, Gary Chapman, John Eldredge, Francine Rivers, Ted Dekker, and Frank Peretti.

SonicFaith offers a subscription program to its customers, which can yield significant savings for users in the long run. Its basic subscription offers a general discount on all content for a monthly fee. For heavy listeners, the most advanced subscription can knock more than 70% off retail. “We treasure our customers and want to reward them for repeat business,” Obremski says.
