The expansion of Scala into the Asian marketplace solidifies its dominant position in the worldwide Digital Signage industry.
Scala KK, located in Tokyo, Japan will be the center of operations for Scala’s Asian market including: Japan, Korea, China, Hong-Kong, Taiwan and Macau. The Scala InfoChannel® software platform is already the world’s largest deployed software for creating and managing Digital Signage and Corporate Communications networks that need to run 24/7. Scala KK’s mission will be to extend Scala’s already impressive worldwide footprint into the Japanese, Chinese and Korean markets. Users in the region will now be able to reap the benefits from InfoChannel’s rapid content creation, management and distribution tools coupled with its unsurpassed scalability, extensibility and network management/control features. A number of key partners have already been appointed in the region, so Scala KK is off to a flying start.
Heading up the business unit is Guillaume Proux as General Manager. Also included the business efforts are Takahiro Furuichi, Technical Services Manager and Yoko Takao Sales & Marketing Assistant. Finally, Scala’s sales office in Greater China headed by Elaine Chew will move under Scala KK’s umbrella.
