Hillsborough, NJ (PRWEB) December 1, 2006
Leading ad agency and digital communications firm JK Design announced today that it has moved its headquarters from Somerset to Hillsborough, NJ.
The move begins a new chapter in the company's 20+-year history as the JK Design staff settles into the John R. Staats House, a 19th-century brick mansion originally owned by one of Somerset County's most prominent families. The three-story Grecian-style building features a spacious patio overlooking a pond and is located within easy access of major transportation corridors including Routes 206, 287 and 78.
"JK Design has always maintained a dynamic and creative atmosphere for our staff and customers," company founder and president Jerry Kaulius said. "Moving our offices to this distinctive historic building reflects the fusion of traditional quality and innovative technology that makes us unique."
Founded in 1985 by Kaulius and a small group of graphic designers, JK Design integrates traditional advertising and digital media to create dynamic marketing strategies for companies, nonprofit groups and government agencies. Clients include Philips Lighting, Siemens Medical, Whatman, LifeCell and Stevens Institute of Technology.
Kaulius described his company's need for a larger space to accommodate their growing staff as one reason for the move. The out-of-the-ordinary, tranquil location is another.
"We wanted to find a site that would highlight the fact that we offer a level of customer service that goes far beyond most other companies in this field," Kaulius noted. "Our outdoor patio is perfect for client lunches and provides a relaxed atmosphere to brainstorm away from the office, while our interior spaces are equipped with high-tech equipment for virtual meetings, multimedia presentations and teleconferences. The new building is technologically advanced, visually exciting and completely client-friendly--values that represent JK Design."
Current and prospective clients are invited to visit JK Design's new headquarters at 465 Amwell Road in Hillsborough, NJ. For more information, call 908-428-4700 or visit http://www.jkdesign.com.
About the John R. Staats House
The John R. Staats House in Hillsborough, New Jersey, was originally home to the prominent Staats family, whose members included Assemblyman John Staats as well as several Revolutionary War officers and minutemen. The stately 19th-century mansion was designed in a classical Grecian style rare in mid-1800s Hillsborough. It overlooks a pond on the Royce Brook, a tributary of the Millstone River. Today, the original pumpkin pine floorboards and ornate crown moldings have been integrated with modern renovations such as high-tech computer workstations, well-appointed conference rooms and comfortable, stylish office spaces designed to foster productivity and inspire creativity.
