Unique new program helps sales leaders connect and inspire the Jigsaw community.

Jigsaw (http://www.jigsaw.com), an on-line database of business contact information, is now offering more resources to its 200,000 member community. In addition to the productivity benefits members receive through the site's user-contributed information model, they can also now benefit from Jigsaw's alliance with leading sales industry experts and business practice authors. The Jigsaw directory was originally created by sales people for sales people, but has also grown popular with recruiters and marketers who are looking to expand their businesses. Jigsaw's new Sales Leader Program gives the sales leaders access to a quickly growing Jigsaw community while members are introduced to the expertise and services of a stable of proven business professionals.

Jigsaw's Sales Leader Program was first established in cooperation with Jill Konrath, author of Selling to Big Companies, and Steve Martin, author of Heavy Hitters Sales Wisdom. After the initial introduction of the program in January, two leaders has quickly become 20. A few of the newest members of the program include Shamus Brown, author of Persuasive Selling Skills, and Michael Luckman, a Sandler Sales Institute Authorized Licensee and CEO of Achievex Corporation. In addition to the publicity that comes from being featured on the Jigsaw website, each sales leader is offered a custom marketing program to present their services to Jigsaw members. "Sales leaders are seizing the opportunity to be seen and heard by the community," says program manager Jake Irland. "They see Jigsaw as a value-added service to offer their clients." Sales Leaders are able to offer benefits and discounts on the Jigsaw website to their networks as part of the program.

"Members find Jigsaw Sales Leaders helpful because they provide answers to daunting questions, like how to sell to their toughest customers," says Jigsaw co-founder Garth Moulton. "Members are using the contact information found in Jigsaw, along with the coaching programs offered by the sales leaders, to become more strategic in their selling." Selected sales leaders have also presented web-based seminars hosted by Jigsaw. These web-based seminars offer a chance for members and sales leaders to discuss challenges and opportunities in today's selling environment. Sales leaders' books are also offered for purchase on the Jigsaw partners' page, where members can also access the leaders' credentials. If the Jigsaw community continues to grow at the current rate, sales leaders can expect to gain even more visibility among their main target audience.
