Beginning June 18, Ellipse Fitness will launch a new program called "Ellipse AMP'D". The 10-week boot camp will be offered Mon. through Fri. and feature hour-long classes starting at 7:45 a.m., 2:45 p.m. and 7 p.m. Clients will be trained on power kickboxing, functional training martial arts, and muscle building. They also will participate in circuit training, plyometrics, interval training, and power yoga classes. Weekly nutrition handouts will educate participants on how to eat properly for this program's level of activity.

"AMP'D combines muscle building and cardiovascular exercise for the truly die-hard fitness fan," said co-owner Lisa Welko. "This program is similar to our current classes, but AMP'D offers an intensity that is incomparable." Welko said the club will monitor each client's body fat and weight analysis on a weekly basis, as well as take before and after photographs so clients can see their progress.

Founded in 2002 by owners Shana Conradt and Lisa Welko, Ellipse Fitness offers personalized fitness programs in a classes-only club. Seven daily classes, which focus on boot camp, kickboxing and muscle sculpting, are combined with an individualized nutritional program to ensure weight and body fat loss. These is one Ellipse Fitness located in Allouez and three in Appleton, Wisc.
