The reaction from first time visitors to our stores ranges from one of complete joy by Christian shoppers to comments from other customers like, 'wow, a positive message, that's really cool.'
Fairfield, CA (PRWEB) June 7, 2007
Following the success of their first 3 franchise stores, C28, a Christian lifestyle retailer selling Christian t-shirts, Christian music, and other apparel, announces the opening of a 4th franchise location in Fairfield California. Scheduled to open in the Solano Mall on June 9th, this location creates a total of 10 C28 stores including 6 company locations, and 4 franchise locations.
According to franchise owner Bill White, the launch of the Solano store marks only the beginning of C28's expansion in Northern California. "Our plan is to open a minimum of 6 stores over the next 4 years in Northern California. Solano came about because it's in a great family community and has the potential to be a very good location for us. The Solano Mall in Fairfield is very popular among the youth and families, our core market group. We feel we will have a strong connection there."
Overall, the feedback from mall shoppers in the area has been largely positive. White continues, "The reaction from first time visitors to our stores ranges from one of complete joy by Christian shoppers to comments from other customers like, 'wow, a positive message, that's really cool.'" Despite the success, the stores have faced some opposition. "A few people take exception to our message but they are met with our strong customer service ethic and hopefully, see a little bit of Jesus in us if we get a chance to serve them."
C28 was founded in 2001 by Aurelio F. Barreto III after he sold Dogloo, Inc., a company he co-founded and was CEO of for ten years. C28's first store opened in the Galleria Mall at Tyler in Riverside California.
C28 began offering franchise opportunities back in 2005. According to C28 Controller Kevin Miller, franchising will be an exciting area of growth for C28 in the future. "C28 franchising is an excellent Christian business opportunity. It offers the ability to minister to a community, impact lives, and to bring a light into the malls."
Bill White concludes, "Ultimately, we are mall missionaries and have spread the good news to thousands of shoppers in San Jose." With the ultimate goal of ministering to people in more communities throughout the country, C28 prays that the fast growth of their franchising division will continue.
