"There are thousands of products under the 'try before you buy' category within the online download industry. We are honored to be nominated as one of the best in this industry. We believe SPAMfighter is one of the most user friendly choices, by being one of the fastest, easiest to install, and most efficient anti-spam tools available today," comments CEO of OakSky USA, Alix Aranza.

According to the Sharware Industry Awards, "'Shareware' is any software that offers a "try before you buy" capability. The user must be able to try the actual product, whether it is a program that can be downloaded or a service that is used online."

SPAMfighter meets these qualifications by offering a free 30 day trial. After this free 30 day trial, people can choose to purchase SPAMfighter PRO. If a user is using SPAMfighter in a private setting, they have the option of continuing using the limited SPAMfighter Standard.

SPAMfighter was nominated as best web enhancement program. According to the shareware website, this "includes any program that enhances use of the World Wide Web, including HTML editors, email programs, browser-related utilities, search programs, and newsgroup readers" according to the Shareware Industry Awards Foundation Website.

The winner of this award will be announced at a 3 day event July 12 - 14, 2007. The other nominees in this category are Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird and RoboForm.
