v.1 Labs Self Installation Wizard continues to enjoy wide market adoption.

v.1 Labs today announced that it has been selected to provide self installation tools to Bell Aliant. Bell Aliant will initially deploy the v.1 Labs Self Installation Wizard to support the installation of new dial-up internet customers. The tool has been developed to download a unique configuration file that allows Bell Aliant the flexibility to use the tool for all installations.

"We initially needed to find a replacement for our legacy self installation tool in light of the new Windows Vista operating system. Our discussions with v.1 Labs quickly showed us that there was much more that we could offer in terms of the customer experience. We are committed to offering the best customer experience and feel that this is one of our clear strengths and differentiators in the market. v.1 Labs clearly shares our vision in regards to creating the best possible customer experience and thus made it easy for us to move ahead with their installation tool," said Joe Mosher, Director Aliant ISP.

"Needless to say we are thrilled to have been chosen by Bell Aliant for this project. They have been constantly on the cutting edge of new service offerings and have always been focused on the customer experience. Working with an operator who shares our vision of the end consumer experience has been a pleasure for us," added Mike Earle, President and CEO of v.1 Labs.

The v.1 Labs Self Installation Wizard can be easily applied to any service offering, including IPTV, VoIP, High Speed Data, and Dial Up. The inherent architecture of the tool allows operators to deploy across multiple locations and multiple service offerings by simply modifying a configuration file. Operators need to have the flexibility to deploy a single tool that can work across multiple platforms, all while avoiding lengthy and expensive professional services charges. The v.1 Labs Self Installation Wizard can be deployed as a CD based or Diskless based platform.
