Henderson, NC (PRWEB) August 7, 2007
HandCrafted Homes, one of the leading systems-built companies in the country, announced today that it has completed its first ever marina on Radio Island, located between Morehead City and Beaufort on Highway 70.
Len Fairfield, Manager of HandCrafted Homes Builders in New Bern, worked with Bill and Jane Newbern, owners of the Radio Island Marina, to tear down the existing structure and replace it with a larger, upgraded building. The new two-story marina offers office space and a retail shop on the first floor, while a clubhouse for slip owners occupies the second floor.
"HandCrafted Homes was excited to participate in the revitalization of the Radio Island marina. Working with Bill Newbern has certainly been a pleasurable experience," said Bill Murray, HandCrafted Homes' General Manager. "The new facility should serve the slip owners well and provide them with many good memories in the years to come. We're proud to be part of this endeavor and look forward to creating a lasting mark on this community with the marina."
