New site combines, social networking, content sharing, and personal brand building for the Information Technology industry.

The Morosini Group, LLC, a Nevada company, announces the creation of a new subsidiary, Techocracy.Net, headquartered in Oakland, California.

The goal of Techocracy.Net is to become an archive of Information Technology intellectual property, created by empowered individuals. The site is both a content archive as well as a social networking site for information technology professionals.

Founder Tony Morosini stated, "As an information technology consultant and executive recruiter, a couple things have struck me over the years. First, individuals do not have many vehicles to market their personal brand, outside of the PR department of the company they work for. I wanted to create a place where empowered individuals could share knowledge, and where recognition will follow those who best serve the community. Second, a challenge for consumers of information technology content is that a great deal of it is written in a "payola" manner. If you have even been in a meeting with the major industry analysts or press, you know what I am referring to."

Techocracy.Net's logo says it all. The logo is a picture of Pericles, considered the father of modern democracy. Technocracy.Net will aggregate data from leading information technology blogs as well as allow members to upload and publish their own content. Content publishers can remove their work at any time.

Morosini continued, "I envisioned a site that is a morph between YouTube and Gartner Group, but very much grass roots with an organic flavor."
