Hibel is a veteran of four VoiceXML companies that helped create the market for standards-based IVR platforms and applications that are now replacing legacy proprietary systems at a torrid pace. He most recently served as vice president of marketing at Voxeo, a leading provider of hosted and premise-based IVR and VoIP systems. Prior to Voxeo, Hibel was vice president of marketing at Vocalocity, director of sales at VoiceGenie, and director of marketing and product management at Lucent Speech Solutions. Hibel is an alumnus of the GE Corporate Audit Staff, and received an engineering degree from MIT with a minor in Economics.
