With Halo 3 Release Just Days Away, Online Buzz Continues to Skyrocket

As final installment of Bungie Studios’ popular multiplayer game gets set to debut on September 25, Halopedia surpasses 3,000 articles, announces Halo 3 contest.

The Wikia Gaming Network (http://www.wikia.com/wiki/Gaming), a collection of community run sites for more than 400 games, today announced that it’s popular Halopedia (http://halo.wikia.com) site has surpassed the 3,000 article mark as interest in all-things Halo continues to increase in advance of the highly-anticipated release of Halo 3 next week.

Halopedia is regarded as an accurate and valuable resource among gamers, many of whom contribute to the site by sharing their knowledge of game details, tips, tricks and more. Already, the site provides loads of information about Halo 3, including multiplayer maps, equipment, weapons, vehicles, characters and more and it also features a laundry-list of community vetted facts about the new game: http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Halo_3#Confirmed_facts_about_Halo_3.

In honor of the launch of Halo 3, Halopedia is also hosting a giveaway, which will reward Halo 3 players for contributing to the Halopedia Halo 3 knowledge base with top-of-the-line Halo 3 gear.
